August 30th, First day of class Reflections: I had found the first day of class very interesting. It was my first teaching method class so I didn't know what to expect. I was worried about fieldwork and was wondering if I even have what it takes to be an amazing teacher. I was unsure of what was expected in the class Sci and Tech Methods for Child Ed. But after I met my teacher, Dr. Smirnova, I realized that I would really enjoy this class. Dr. Smirnova isn't your average teacher. In her classroom, there are no due dates for assignments and she is extremely passionate about technology in the classroom. During class, we watched two videos, one called "A Vision of K-12 Students Today" and the other called "Do Schools Kill Creativity." Both of these videos surprised me greatly.
